Upright, densely hairy to 32 in. Stems one to several from base, usually branched.

Flower: To 3/16 across. 4 yellow to whitish cream petals. Narrowed at base, broader at tip. Flowers numerous in flat topped terminal racemes.

Leaves: 3/4 to 4 3/4 in long, alternate, blue-green. Lower leaves finely divided. Upper leaves smaller and usually less parted.
