Upright to 4 ft. Stem solitary, round, much-branched.
Flower: To 1 5/8 in. wide. 4 yellow separate wide-spreading petals. 4 sepals. Flowers solitary, stalked, from leaf axils.
Leaves: To 6 in. long and 1 5/8 in. wide. Alternate, shortstalked. Blade narrow at both ends. Margins entire.
Found in wet soil. Edges of streams, ponds. |
