Shrub or tree 6-48 ft tall.
Flower: Spherical head, resembling a puffball to almost 1 in. in diameter. Short petals almost concealed by stamens. Color from protruding stamens.
Leaves: Twice compound pinnate leaves. 2-8 pairs of pinnae, 10-25 pairs of leaflets per pinna. Leaflets to 3/16 in long.
Seedpod: Plump to cylindrical, reddish brown to black beanpod without spines. |
