Composite

Upright succulent annual 18-20 in.

Flower: Head to 3/4 in across. Ray flowers 10-14, yellow. Disk flowers numerous, yellow. Heads solitary on short stalks, numerous, forming large terminal cluster.

Leaves: to 8 in long. Alternate, stalked. The blade is deeply divided into numerous somewhat rounded segments or lobes with the end ot tip segment of lower leaves much larger than others and often wider than long. Leaves become smaller toward upper part of plant.
