Upright to widely sprawling, hairy, aromatic annual. To 6 ftin height, but usually 1-3.Gland-tipped hairs make plant sticky to touch.

Flower To 1 inch across. Ray flowers 15-35 yellow. Disc flowers 35-40 yellow.

Leaves To 2 3/4 in long. Alternate, rough with margins coarsely toothed. Upper leaves stalkless. Lower leaves stalked but absent by flowering time.

Has strong camphor scent if crushed. Not grazed.
