Upright, moundlike annual 4-20 in, stems one to few, slender at base, usually much branched in upper portion. Entire plant bitterly aromatic
Flower to 1 inch across. Ray flowers 8-10 yellow, toothed at tip, sometimes drooping. Disk flowers dull yellow to brown.
Leaves Long, narrow or threadlike. Frequently withered by flowerin time.
Usually not eaten by cattle, may be prominent in heavily grazed pastures. |
