5 tiny petals, flowers in umbels

Tall (to 1.5 m.) with coarse, yellow-green stem.

Flower: Five tiny yellow petals to 1/4 in. across. Flowers in small clusters with 10-20 clusters on stalks of unequal length, the clusters again forming larger clusters.

Leaves: to 7 1/4 in. long pinnately divided with rounded tips. Reddish petiole bases.

Seed: Mature seeds have a tapering lower end. Wing portion broader and thinner than seed body.

Round tips on pinnate leaf tips.
One of the distinction between this Texas Parsley and Prairie Parsley are the leaf tips. Look for round tips on the leaflets.

Also seed pod is tapering inferiorly on this flower where the Prairie Parsley has a perfectly elliptical seed.
