Upright 10-40 cm.

Flower: Bright white, petals sharply reflexed, below an elongated pedestal. Long, curving horns arch over the central column.

Leaves: Lance-like leaves on petioles, many in opposite pairs.

Seedpod: Erect on erect pedicel. Seeds hairy.
