Funnel with 5 ruffled, petal-like lobes
Willow-like shrub, 6-10 feet tall.
Flower: Funnel-shaped, 1-1.5 in. long, spreading at opening with ruffled five petal-like lobes. Dark pink or purple, often with white or yellow and purple streaks within the throat.
Leaves: Both opposite and alternate. 4-12 in. long by 1/3 in. wide.
Seedpod: Slender seedpod, 6-10 in. long, remain dangling after flowers are gone.
