Tall annual to 2(+) m. tall. Thick fine hairs (hence also known as Downy Gaura).
Flower: Bilaterally symmetric, small with four clawed petals, initially white turning pink/red with age. Petals 3.5 - 15 mm long. Sepals 4.5-17 mm long. Anthers 1.5 - 6 mm long.
Leaves: Entire or toothed.
Fruit: 5-11 mm long, subsessile (with almost no pedicle), weakly angled. |
