Low, soft-hairy, solitary stem, much branched from near base.
Flower: To 1/2 in. across. 5 sepals longer than petals. Septals have spinelike tip. 5 rose to pale pink petals. Petals notched.
Leaves: To 2 3/8 in across. Alternate, long-stalked, blade almost round in outline, deeply cut or lobed to base in 3-5 segments with each segment again cut or lobed.
Long and conspicuous fruit. |
