Directions to Riverbend Ranch - From Houston
1. From the northwest corner of 610 loop, exit 290 west.2. Continue on 290 beyond the Hempstead exit until crossing the Brazos River into Washington County (approx. 54 miles). The signs for the Brazos River and Washington County are not very prominent. They are actually easier to see at night than during the day.
3. Approx 2.4 miles after crossing into Washington County, turn right on Routt Road. Circled in red in the photo on the left,
the sign is small and it is easy to miss until it is almost too late to make the turn. If possible, slow down before you see the sign! If you arrive at the light for the turn to Chappell Hill, you have gone two miles too far. If you get to Brenham, you have gone ten miles too far.4. Routt Road is a lightly paved road. Follow it until it comes to a ‘T’. Turn right on Riverside Plantation Road.
5. Riverside Plantation Road comes to a dead end. On the left, a black pipe fence with a cattle guard is the entrance to 10405 Riverside Plantation Road. The yellow house is visible from the road. This is the last possible turn left before the dead end. There is a Riverbend Ranch sign on the fence (as shown on the photo to the right).
Directions to Riverbend Ranch North - From Chappell Hill
2. After 5 miles (just after Doe Run Estates), turn right on 2726.
3. 2726 comes to a 'T' at 1370. Turn right (south) on 1370.
4. As 1370 curves to the right, watch for Old River Road, a gravel road, on the left.
5. Veer left on Old River Lane and drive to the end. There are three catttle guards on this road. After 0.5 mile, a dirt road curves to the right (towards a house etc), but keep going straight. Just after the second cattle guard, the road curves to the right and then the left. Stay to the left as the road dips down and runs over a dam. After you pass the on your right, you will pass over a third cattle guard entering Riverbend Ranch North.
Directions to Riverbend Ranch North - From Navasota
2. Turn left onto 1155 heading south.
3. Turn left onto 1370 heading south
4. While on 1370, watch for Old River Road, a gravel road on the left, as 1370 curves to the right.(see photo at left)5. Veer left onto Old River Lane and drive to the end. Riverbend Ranch North is the last property at end of road.
6. There are three catttle guards on this road. After 0.5 mile, a dirt road curves to the right (towards a house etc), but keep going straight.
7. Just after the second cattle guard, the road curves to the right and then the left. Stay to the left as the road dips down and runs over a dam. After you pass the pond on your right, you will pass over a third cattle guard entering Riverbend Ranch North.
